If you're not familiar with sync licensing, this is where we create music (preferably at your request) for inclusion in other forms of media where you're needing more audio content to go along with your Podcasts, TV Shows, Video Games, Youtube Channels, Films, or whatever.

You could call us....

....Composers, Arrangers, Session Musicians, and Engineers for hire, but we specifically focus on sync-related projects. Why? Because we don't like having to write the same boring songs every day. Sync Licensing brings us from East Asia in the morning all the way to kid's tunes in the evening if that's how our day goes. One of the best feelings in the world is being able to convey the emotion that's needed in a scene of visual media, into audio. Emotion is truly the name of the game.

What's it like to work with us?

Little Bird Recording is stacked with incredibly refined talent. Dedicated composers, arrangers, and music copyists are at the very beginning of the chain. The best products happen with great organization. We're looking for those subtle things within media that draw out emotion. Next, we work through the song with our in-house multi-instrumentalists, who are proficient at over 30 instruments - but also use tools like MIDI Programming to achieve sonic results. We'll probably work with you to tweak a few things to your liking (I did say we were communicative, didn't I?) before we get it off for mixing and mastering with our trusted engineers (all of which have ridiculous mix/master credits including top names across the world).

What We Need From You:

Are we writing against video footage? Yeah, we're probably going to need that.

Are we writing against audio of someone talking or reciting a script? Yeah, we might need that too.

First, let us know the style of music that you're going for. Electronica/Polka? World Music with Bluegrass Instruments? These are a bit of a joke, but really- this is where we have to start.

Second, do you have an idea about the tempo? Fast, medium, slow?

Third, do you have any particular ideas in your head about what you want to hear?

What We Give You At The End:

A ridiculously polished audio recording that you can use with your TV show, Film, Youtube Channel, or whatever you like.
Stems are available if you'd like your project audio engineer to handle it.
Filetypes and that YOU specify (if it's really an MP3 that you need, I guess we'll just have to comply).
Smiling faces? A receipt? One or both, I guess.

Don't sound like everyone else who buys from the same production house or uses the same instrumentation or does something else that's completely run-of-the-mill. Do something special; unique even! If you have ideas for the audio that we'll be creating, we want to hear them, and then we'll throw them away. Just playing around- we would like to include these things in our writings, too! Challenge us for once. We get bored easily.

We stay ahead of the tech curve to bring you great audio with the newest technology and the newest methods of creating hyper-realistic sonicscapes. Fluff language aside, we're way deep into this stuff. The tech part of this is almost as fun as the actual music part. Don't believe me? Sometimes we break out a MIDI-enabled glove to lay down a section of music, but it's admittedly for show.
